HAUSKCH: First Reading

“September days have the warmth of summer in their briefer hours, but in their lengthening evenings a prophetic breath of autumn.” — Rowland E. Robinson As we step into September, the year invites us into a season of transition. It’s a time to pause, reflect, and pour the thoughts we’ve been gathering onto paper. Whether you write poetry, prose, journal entries, or anything in between, join @wordsmithsofkuching for an evening of connecting through the written word ✍🏼✨ 📜 First Reading 🕰️ 8:00 PM onwards 📅 18 September 2026 🏷️ Purchase a drink to join 📍 2F, HAUS KCH, Yun Phin Building Spend your evening among fellow writers, readers, and literature lovers. We celebrate the stories and reflections that keep us grounded as the months slip by 🫧 First Reading is a monthly collaboration with @wordsmithsofkuching ! At the heart of every great poetry scene is community. In a world that moves so quickly, gathering in person creates space to slow down, reflect, and connect. Poetry isn't just about writing, it's about being heard, and hearing others too.
